Please remember to pray for the team, we will be leaving Friday morning to travel home. We are stopping by Niagara Falls on the way to our destination in Pennsylvania. Saturday we will finish off the trip and arrive in Laurinburg in the evening. We would like to thank everyone who has prayed for us and encouraged us along the way. It has been an awesome trip. Thank you all!

Hello friends! Our first two days here have been a blessing for the whole team. Sunday morning we participated in the church service at The Sanctuary. This is the local church we are serving with this week in the Milton area. The team will be working to help spread the word about the church to the local area since they have moved into a new building for worship on Sundays. We will be helping them in service projects as well as canvasing the local neighborhoods with literature about the church that has moved so that they will be invited to attend and plugged into a body of believers. In the evening on Sunday we had an awesome prayer meeting and spent time preparing the packets that we will be passing out to the neighborhoods this week.

Today we spent the whole day passing out some of the packets we prepared. We gave out almost 2,500 packets in the neighborhoods around Milton. It was great to see all of the young people and adults walking to houses, and in some cases, talking to the people in the neighborhood that were out and about. The weather was somewhat rainy, but the rain held off as we walked around, and it helped keep the heat down. Praise the Lord for an awesome weekend and a great start to our week of service with Mike and Patty Hampton, the missionaries we are working with.

Welcome to the blog for the Stewartsville Baptist Church mission trip to Canada! We will be using this site as a way to keep all of you updated on what we are doing during the week. It will be a good way for people to keep up with the team as we share Christ with the Muslim population in the Toronto area.

For anyone who may not know us, we are a team of Christians from Stewartsville Baptist Church in Laurinburg, NC. The team is made up of families and single participants who have a strong desire to see the Great Commission put into action in the world. We are leaving on July 9th for the Toronto area in Canada. While we are there, we expect to hand out packets containing a multi-language version of the Jesus DVD and other information, including a Gospel tract, information on the local church we are serving, and invitations to the block party we will be hosting for local residents. We will also be participating in service projects, as well as personal witnessing to people in the community. More information on these activitiies will be updated on a regular basis.

We will be sharing photos and news throughout the week, as often as possible. Our church has been very supportive of the team, and we would like you all to experience what we are experiencing. Thank you for your prayers and support. We all appreciate everything the church has done to support us. Remember to keep praying for us, every prayer is necessary and helpful.
